Rev. D. Mark Blank was born in Meadeville in northwestern Pennsylvania. Growing up his family moved around. He graduated from the University of Tampa, where he majored in the performing arts and musical theater. He is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Second Congregational called him to be their minister in December 2017. He is currently a Fellow in the Lilly Homiletics project.
